Our Story

Dr Fiona and Dr Julie met whilst studying medicine at UCD, from where they both graduated in 2004. They later crossed paths again when they worked together in a busy paediatric hospital. After each undergoing specialist training as GPs and gaining several years’ valuable experience working in a variety of General Practice settings separately, they joined forces again and started to consider the possibility of setting up their own practice together.

They shared a vision for the type of practice they would develop - high-quality primary healthcare, delivered in a modern clinic setting, by caring and dynamic doctors and nurses, with well-established links to other healthcare professionals and hospital specialities. They identified a geographical area in south Dublin in need of a GP practice, as other practices in nearby suburbs were mostly full or oversubscribed.

The plan for Tully Family Practice was formed!
